Microsoft Purview | Microsoft Entra: Insider Risk condition in Conditional Access is GA

Insider risk management just got easier with the Insider Risk condition in Conditional Access being generally available in Microsoft Entra. With an Entra ID P2 license, organizations can now set up Conditional Access policies that use insider risk signals from Adaptive Protection to enforce actions based on user risk levels. The rollout started in early July 2024 and is expected to be complete by early August 2024. To use this feature, Adaptive Protection must be enabled, and organizations must obtain an Entra ID P2 license. This integration brings a powerful capability to Microsoft Purview that allows organizations to block elevated risk users from accessing company resources while allowing minor risk users to continue to access their resources. Organizations will need to follow setup instructions and obtain an Entra ID P2 license if they do not already have one. It is essential to note that the default Insider Risk Conditional Access Policy configured during public preview remains unchanged after the rollout. This feature is accessible to all users with an Entra ID P2 license, and it is already on by default.
