Microsoft Teams: Federated group calling
Microsoft Teams has introduced a new feature that allows for easy group calling with federated colleagues outside of your organization. This feature includes video and screen sharing capabilities and can all be done over an internet connection with no usage charges for PSTN. The release date for this feature is set for January 2023 and will be available on the Android platform. This new development marks a step forward for efficient and secure communication between teams across different organizations.
To take advantage of this feature, simply use your Teams account to start a group call and invite participants outside of your organization. With the added convenience of video and screen sharing, remote teams can now work together more efficiently than ever before.
