Microsoft Purview | eDiscovery (Premium): Retirement of classic case format
In an effort to improve performance and add additional capabilities, Microsoft is retiring the "classic" case format option in eDiscovery (Premium) in favor of the "new" case format, which takes advantage of a new processing pipeline. Starting February 1, 2023, existing collections and review sets in active classic cases will become view-only, but data will still be accessible and can be exported beyond that date. Organizations that have access to eDiscovery (Premium) should begin using the new case format and provide training for all users on the changes, including updating relevant documentation as needed.
