Microsoft Purview compliance portal: eDiscovery (Premium) – CMK (Customer Managed Keys) support for data at-rest in Review sets

This announcement introduces the implementation of customer-managed key (CMK) options, giving users the ability to manage their own encryption keys for data stored in eDiscovery review sets through the Microsoft Purview compliance portal. With default Microsoft-managed encryption already in place, this feature provides an additional, customizable layer of security for sensitive data. The release is set for general availability in August CY2023, with a preview available in June CY2023.
