Microsoft Purview compliance portal: eDiscovery (Premium) – Review set data minimization – Identify exact duplicates by default

Microsoft has announced the release of its Purview compliance portal, introducing an eDiscovery (Premium) review sets query designed to streamline and minimize review set data. By default, the portal identifies exact duplicates, even in the context of email threads, and reduces data by approximately 30%. The portal enables full visibility of all hash values used in de-duplication and email threading algorithms, simplifying and hastening the review process. The product will be made available for General Availability Release in September CY2023, with a preview available in June CY2023. The platform is web-based, accessible via cloud instance, and available worldwide, as well as in GCC High, DoD, and GCC.
