Retirement: Investigation priority score feature

Microsoft Defender's 'Investigation priority score' feature is scheduled to be retired from mid-September to late October 2024. This means that Security Operations Center (SOC) administrators and analysts will need to switch to the 'Entra risk score' feature instead. To prepare for this change, Microsoft advises consulting the Entra ID Protection resources provided on the Microsoft Learn platform. Once the change takes effect, users will no longer have access to, manage, or use Investigation priority score alerts in Microsoft Defender. If you currently use this feature and require it, Microsoft recommends utilizing the Entra risk score feature as an alternative.
