Microsoft Teams: Pop out Chat, Copilot, and Notes panes in meetings

Microsoft Teams is set to introduce a new feature that will enable users to pop out Notes, Chat, and Copilot panes during meetings. This feature, which is part of Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 421607, will be available to users with a Copilot license, and the rollout will happen automatically between mid and late February 2025. The pop-out feature will allow users to view multiple meeting features simultaneously, making it easier to keep track of the discussion and follow along with notes. Users can resize and drag the pane to their desired position, based on their screen setup and productivity goals for the meeting. Admin action is not required for this update. Do note that the Copilot pane is only available in Worldwide environments with a Microsoft 365 Copilot license.
If you're a regular user of Microsoft Teams for meetings, these improvements are sure to enhance your experience and make it easier to keep track of multiple aspects of a meeting at once.
