Exchange Online Customizable Message Expiration Timeout Interval Coming Soon

Exchange Online Customizable Message Expiration Timeout Interval Coming Soon

A recent update is set to bring about a change to Exchange Online's default message expiration timeout interval, which currently stands at 24 hours. Admins will soon have the ability to tailor this interval to suit their organization, with the update offering customizable options ranging from 12 to 24 hours. This adjustment will affect how quickly senders receive a bounce message when a message can't be sent or delivered due to a temporary error, with a shorter interval resulting in a faster bounce message. This update is set to roll out between mid-October and late November, offering increased flexibility and personalization options to Exchange Online users.
