Microsoft Teams has made a significant change to its Personal Apps layout by streamlining the header bar. Microsoft Teams' desktop and web clients will now sport a simplified header bar in the Personal Apps section. The "About" tab and other utility actions have been moved to the overflow menu, while the "Chat" tab has been relocated to a new right-hand side panel for apps that support it. These enhancements aim to simplify the navigation and usage of Personal Apps, ensuring that users can easily find and use their desired applications.
This change rolled out in July CY2024 and is available in various platforms such as Mac, Cloud Instance GCC, and Worldwide (Standard Multi-Tenant), DoD, GCC High. Check the Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 396166 for more details.
