Syntex is available in non-primary region of multi-geo tenants

Good news for multi-geo tenants using Syntex capabilities, as Microsoft has released a new update that enables Syntex capabilities such as document processing, image tagging, taxonomy tagging, content assembly, and OCR in the non-primary region of these tenants, too. The update is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 181409 and will be rolled out between mid-October and mid-November. This means that end users of these tenants will be able to use Syntex capabilities that are enabled in their tenant. To start using Syntex, go to the Microsoft Admin Center and enable it under Set Up -> Files and Content -> Use Content AI with Microsoft Syntex, and then connect to an Azure subscription. Let your users in the non-primary region of your tenant know that these features are now available to them.

For more information, see the Microsoft Syntex documentation.
