Microsoft Teams: Watermark support for recording playback (Premium)
Microsoft has rolled out a new feature for Teams Premium license holders to enable recording playback with a watermark feature, allowing IT admins to encourage meeting hosts to enable recording for maximum security. Once a meeting is finished, users can access recorded content on both mobile and web platforms with an individual email ID watermark overlayed to add an extra layer of protection against data leaks. Only the owner of the recording (meeting organizer) is able to download it, with their email ID appearing throughout the recording. Other viewers will see their own email ID if they watch the recording on the web. This new feature is expected to be fully rolled out by late October.
