Microsoft Teams: Meeting “Recording & Transcription” tab will be replaced by “Recap” tab
Microsoft Teams has announced that the “Recap” tab will soon replace the “Recording & Transcription” tab for scheduled meetings. This change will allow users to conveniently access both recordings and transcripts from the same tab. The “Recording & Transcription” tab will be removed for meetings that have a “Recap” tab, while it will continue to be available for meetings that don't have a “Recap” tab. This feature is expected to become available for general use in December 2023, and it can be accessed by users on the Mac Cloud Instance GCC, Worldwide (Standard Multi-Tenant), DoD, GCC High platforms. So, users can look forward to an improved and more streamlined experience when accessing meeting recordings and transcripts on Microsoft Teams.
