New Graph APIs for accessing Teams Meeting Recording

This post discusses the new Graph APIs introduced to allow access to Teams Meeting Recordings via resource-specific consent (RSC) permissions. These permissions enable admins to authorize users to provide consent for specific access to Teams meeting recordings installed, rather than across the entire tenant. The rollout of these new APIs is expected to begin in early July and complete by mid-September. As a tenant admin, org-wide application permissions can be accepted for apps that require access to Teams meeting recordings, alternatively, a self-serve model is available whereby meeting organizers/presenters can authorize individual apps for specific meetings. Tenants can switch to more restrictive permissions for app access to recordings using the Azure portal. Preparing for the rollout entails taking into consideration whether users should be notified of the new capability and updating training and documentation accordingly. Detailed information on the Graph APIs for accessing Teams Meeting Recordings can be found in the provided link.
