Microsoft Exchange Online: New fields for Exchange mailbox schema
Microsoft Exchange Online is enhancing its telemetry capabilities with the rollout of two new subfields, ‘ClientAppId’ and ‘APIId’, under ‘AppAccessContext’ for improved field consistency. The change will take effect by the end of 2024, with no required action from admins. The update will enable organizations to better track and audit events and actions within Exchange APIs, complete with fallbacks and unique identification capabilities. Admins are advised to review workflows to accommodate these changes for optimal operation post-update.
