Admin app retiring in Teams, Outlook and Microsoft365.com

The Admin app for very small businesses in Teams, Outlook, and Microsoft365.com will retire by October 2026, with rollout starting August 2026. It will no longer be pre-installed or supported. Admins should use Microsoft Admin Center, Teams Admin Center, or Microsoft 365 Admin Agent instead. What and why: The Admin app is an application built to help very small businesses manage administrative tasks directly in Teams, Outlook and Microsoft365.com.  Starting in October 2026, the Admin app will no longer be supported or available. Rollout schedule: We will begin rolling out mid-August 2026 and expect to complete by mid-October 2026. Impact on your organization: Who is affected? Admins using the Admin app in Teams, Outlook or Microsoft365.com What will happen? Starting in August 2026 the Admin app will no longer be pre-pinned or pre-installed in Teams for new very small business admins. Admins will still be able to access the application if it is installed in Teams.  Starting in October 2026 the Admin app will no longer be supported or available to customers in Teams, Outlook, or Microsoft365.com.
