Microsoft OneDrive: Find files faster with the improved search experience in OneDrive for the web
If you use OneDrive for web, you'll be happy to know that an improved search experience is on the way, making it easier to find files with new filters and a clickable location column. This feature will roll out from late September 2024 and will complete by late October 2024 without any admin action being required. With the update, users will be able to filter their search results by file type and date modified while also being able to switch between My files, All files, Current folder, and Current document library. There will also be a new search results page with a clickable Location column to search personal OneDrive, shared folders, and document libraries. Users can use the Date filter to filter search results based on when the files were modified. Prepare for the rollout by checking for revised documentation and notifying users of the upcoming change.
The improved search experience is part of Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 395379 and will be available worldwide. The post Microsoft OneDrive: Find files faster with the improved search experience in OneDrive for the web appeared first on M365 Admin.
