Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Insider Risk Management – Enriching Insider risk management with Communication compliance as an indicator

Microsoft Purview compliance portal is expanding its capabilities to better manage insider risks by utilizing communication compliance policy matches as a new indicator for detecting different communication risks, including inappropriate language. This extension enables the system to identify potential breaches of financial regulatory compliance and any violation of custom communication compliance policy across various platforms such as Teams, Exchange, Yammer, Copilot, or third-party channels. The comprehensive approach to risk detection will enhance insider risk management. This feature is currently in the Preview Release phase, with a scheduled release date of July CY2024Preview date: May CY2024.
