Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Insider Risk Management – Sequence and anomaly detection in insider risk analytics

Microsoft has announced an update to the Purview Insider Risk Management platform, which helps identify potential insider risks by correlating various signals. The update offers increased functionality with the addition of sequence and anomaly detection indicators to the insider risk analytics tools, offering more comprehensive and effective insights. The platform has been designed with user privacy in mind, with default pseudonymization, role-based access control, and audit logs in place to protect user-level privacy. Customers can use the Insider Risk Management platform to create policies to manage compliance and security, specifically guarding against IP theft, data leakage, and security violations. The update is set to be released in June of 2023 and will be available globally on various platforms, including GCC, DoD, and GCC High.
