Teams admin center: View users and groups assigned to a policy

The Teams admin center now provides admins with the ability to view the list of users and groups assigned to a policy. This feature will enable admins to manage policies more effectively and gain insight into which policies are currently in use and who they are assigned to. From October 2022, the admin center will display two columns on various policy pages, "Assigned to users" and "Assigned to groups." "Assigned to users" lists users that are assigned via direct assignment, while "Assigned to groups" provides a list of user groups assigned via group policy assignment. Clickable links in both columns will direct admins to the Users > Manage users page to view directly assigned users and the corresponding Group policy assignment page to view groups assigned via group assignment. Admins can review custom policies applied to users via direct assignment and groups via group policy assignment, verify assigned users and groups, and delete policies as needed. Keep in mind that clicking on the view link for a policy with no assignments will display zero results. This update is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 97253 and is set to release in mid-October 2022 and complete by late October 2022.
