Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Information Protection – Auto-labeling policy supports excluding locations (U.S. Government clouds)

Microsoft Purview compliance portal now facilitates an auto-labeling policy that allows users to exclude specific locations such as in SharePoint, OneDrive, or Exchange within the U.S. government cloud. This advanced feature provides enhanced protection and streamlines compliance while reducing the risk of unauthorized access, ensuring that sensitive information is protected.

With general availability set for June CY2023, this feature will be available through the web cloud instance across GCC, DoD and GCC High platforms. The roadmap ID for this feature is 124908, and for more information on this release, visit the roadmap link.
