Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Information Protection – Configure display colors for sensitivity labels (U.S. Government clouds)

Microsoft Purview compliance portal is introducing a new feature that simplifies policy management for administrators. By enabling them to set a label color for the sensitivity labels, it will enhance the experience of managing policies. Once the coloring is applied, it can be seen in first-party and third-party applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, or Power BI. This feature is now available on the web cloud instance and has been created for the DoD, GCC, and GCC High platforms. The product release phase for this feature is set for May CY2023, and its roadmap ID is 124794.

To summarize, the new feature on Microsoft Purview compliance portal allows the configuration of display colors for sensitivity labels, providing administrators with a streamlined policy-managing experience across various platforms from within the portal.
