Microsoft Teams: Teams Phone and Teams Rooms licenses in device store

IT administrators managing Teams certified devices can now browse and purchase Teams Phone and Teams Rooms licenses from the device store in Teams Admin Center. This update makes it easier for IT teams to manage licensing for these devices within the same centralized platform. The feature was made available for general availability in December CY2023 and can be accessed on the web cloud instance worldwide (Standard Multi-Tenant) and GCC.

To take advantage of this update, IT teams can visit the device store in Teams Admin Center and try, as well as buy, Teams Phone and Teams Rooms licenses. This is a welcome change for administrative teams to manage the licenses of their Teams certified devices all in one place.

This new feature is part of Microsoft's roadmap for improving Teams and making it easier for organizations to manage their unified communications and collaboration technologies.
