Microsoft Teams: Pre-pin meeting apps via Admin Policy in TAC
Microsoft Teams administrators can now pre-pin meeting apps for users through the Teams Admin Center (TAC) just like they can for personal apps and messaging extensions, according to a recent announcement from the company. This feature is now generally available to users on the iOS platform and available in various cloud instances including Worldwide (Standard Multi-Tenant), GCC High, and GCC. The feature was created on June 1, 2023 and can be found on the Microsoft 365 roadmap under ID 131169.
If you're a Teams admin looking to streamline your users' virtual meetings, pre-pinning apps is a great way to ensure your team has everything they need at their fingertips without any unnecessary distractions. This new feature release from Microsoft Teams will make it easier for you to execute this process and organize your team's meetings with greater efficiency.
