Microsoft Viva: Viva Goals – Request License for Others
Microsoft Viva's Viva Goals has added a new feature that allows all unlicensed users to request a license from their IT administrator. These requests will be seen by IT admins in the Microsoft 365 admin center (MAC), who can either approve or decline them. Previously, unlicensed users who encountered errors while attempting to sign in were unable to proceed. This new feature allows them to express their intent to their IT admin to begin using Goals. Additionally, organizational administrators can now request licenses for all unlicensed users in their Goals Organizations, thus enabling them to access and use Goals. The feature is expected to be released in May CY2024 and is available on the web cloud instance platform. For more information, please visit the Microsoft Viva roadmap linked below.
