Microsoft Viva: Lightweight management of manually created topics outside the Viva Topics license
Microsoft Viva offers a comprehensive knowledge management solution, including an extensive library of AI-generated topics. However, in some cases, users may want to create their own topics manually within apps such as Viva Engage. With this release, knowledge administrators will be able to edit, create, and delete manually created topics without requiring a Viva Topics license. This makes knowledge management more accessible and streamlined, empowering users to organize and classify conversations and posts in Viva Engage. This lightweight approach to topic management provides an efficient and effective way to manage knowledge without the overhead of a Viva Topics license. This feature is set to be generally available from July CY2023, on the web and cloud platform, and will be accessible worldwide in the standard multi-tenant instance.
