Microsoft Teams Meeting Add-In Update in Outlook
Starting March 31, 2024, the Teams Meeting Add-in in Outlook for Classic Teams will not receive any feature updates as Microsoft transitions to New Teams. Organizations using Classic Teams are advised to shift to New Teams to ensure a seamless experience and update training and documentation accordingly. It's worth noting that the Teams Meeting Add-in will still function for New Teams. However, feature updates specific to Classic Teams will no longer be provided after this transition. Even though security and privacy updates will continue to apply as necessary.
To prepare for this transition, organizations should switch to New Teams and upgrade their training and documentation as appropriate. MC724122 is the message ID for this announcement.
