Meet App on Microsoft Teams

Microsoft Teams users can now access Meet - a centralized hub for managing all meeting activity and content. The Meet app is available exclusively on the new Microsoft Teams desktop and web versions, and serves as the destination for pre, during and post-meeting content, insights, and action items. It allows users to prepare for meetings, catch up with what they missed and find meeting-related content, agendas, notes, chats and recaps all at one place. Scheduled for release as part of the standard release in mid-August, the Meet app is pre-installed and can be activated by navigating to "view more apps" from the left-rail app overflow on Microsoft Teams. The Meet app presents two sections - "Up next" and "Recent". The "Up next" section displays upcoming meetings with related content and insights, AI-powered content suggestions, meeting invitees, and offers single-click actions to swiftly resolve issues such as RSVPs, request recording, or dropping a running late note via meeting chat. The "Recent" section presents information about meetings scheduled in the last 30 days with labelling, filters, and a search box to make it easier for users to locate past meetings. Users can also one-click to meeting chat, or access the view recap option which leads to the Intelligent Meeting Recap experience.
