Microsoft Teams: Private moderator replies to individual attendees
Microsoft Teams is introducing a new feature that enhances privacy by allowing moderators to privately reply to attendee questions during events. This feature is set to roll out in January 2025. Its aim is to allow moderators to respond discreetly to attendee inquiries related to sensitive or personal issues. The option will enable more tailored and respectful communication experience. Only the moderator and attendee will be able to see the private conversation. The moderator will have the choice to either publish or dismiss the conversation after the exchange. Moderators can enable or disable the feature in the Q&A settings, which is only available when Moderation is turned on for the event. This feature is enabled by default. Meeting organizers should notify their teams that this feature will be available for use in meetings, webinars, and town halls. More details will be included in the Q&A documentation update.
