Microsoft Purview Communication Compliance – Enhanced investigation and remediation experience
Microsoft Purview Communication Compliance is set to enhance its investigation and remediation workflows by introducing a range of new features designed to improve informed actions on policy matches. These enhancements, which include bulk policy exports, interactive how-to demos, and banners displaying the keywords/conditions flagged in a policy match, will be rolled out in late March 2024 and completed by early April 2024. The purpose of Microsoft Purview Communication Compliance is to help organizations detect compliance violations related to sensitive or confidential information, harassing or threatening language, and adult content sharing. To protect user privacy, default pseudonymization of usernames, role-based access controls, an admin opt-in for investigators, and audit log privacy measures are in place. These enhancements will be made available to Communication Compliance admins and investigators with the correct role-based access control permissions. Undertaking these enhancements will enable investigators and admins to more efficiently and effectively navigate through policy matches.
