Message Reminders in Outlook for iOS and Android
Outlook for iOS and Android will soon have a new feature called Message Reminders that help users keep track of emails they may want to reply to. This feature will pull emails up to the top of their inbox after 3 days of receiving them if a user hasn't replied to them. These reminders will disappear once they reply, or they can swipe to dismiss them. Users will also be able to disable this feature entirely in their app settings. This new feature may be useful for those who tend to overlook emails or tend to forget to reply to important ones. The Message Reminders feature is set to begin rolling out in early May and complete in early June. There's no action required by organizations to prepare for this change, but it's recommended to update user documentation and alert the help desk.
