Power Platform – Two new telemetry data streams are now available in Public Preview
The Power Platform has now rolled out to public preview the inclusion of two new telemetry data streams that integrate with Azure Application Insights to handle Power Automate cloud flow telemetry data and Dynamics 365 Customer Service telemetry data. This integration allows workloads to be effortlessly connected to Azure Application Insights, enabling administrators to monitor, configure, and diagnose alerts within the platform for better management of Power Automate and Dynamics 365 Customer Service deployments. Keep in mind that when this feature reaches general availability, it will be accessible solely within managed environments. Moreover, users who want to take advantage of these new telemetry data streams during the preview will require a Microsoft Power Automate, Power Apps, or Dynamics 365 license with premium rights. However, these limitations are currently relaxed during the public preview. To prepare for this feature, administrators are advised to review the product documentation on how to set up an Azure Application Insights connection and to familiarize themselves with the telemetry available for Microsoft Power Automate and Dynamics 365 Customer Service solutions. Access to Application Insights during the public preview is restricted to customers who have premium Dataverse licenses available for the tenant.
