Outlook: Updates to mail sharing functionality with Cloud Policy Service when setting “Turn off sharing recommendation”
If you use Microsoft Outlook, you may be interested to know that the Cloud Policy Service setting "Turn off sharing recommendation" now includes an update that will disable the ability for users to share folders with individual users. It's important to note that this change will not impact the current policy and how it works with calendar sharing. The ability for users to update default and anonymous permission levels for shared folders will also remain unchanged. This update is expected to be released in October 2024 and will apply to the desktop platform and worldwide cloud instance.
