Microsoft Teams: VDI Status Indicator
Microsoft Teams users on virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) can now benefit from a visual optimization status indicator to enhance their experience. The new feature provides an easy-to-understand message indicating the status of optimization, such as "Optimized" or "Not Optimized," as well as contextual information about the optimization mode, and a brief description of any issues with an error code in the not optimized case, for better support. Additionally, users have an option to fix Teams optimization mode through a restart. The feature is targeted for release in January CY2025 and will be available worldwide for desktop and cloud platforms.
