Microsoft 365: Multi-Geo In-Region Routing
Microsoft 365's Multi-Geo In-Region Routing feature enables customers with regional data compliance requirements to control the routing of inbound mail. This means that mail enters Exchange Online in the geo-region hosting a specific user and is fully processed and stored in that user's region, even if the user is in a different geo-region than their tenant. This feature is currently in preview release phase, with a release date set for January CY2025 and a preview date of November CY2024. It is available for the Desktop and Cloud Instance platforms on the Worldwide (Standard Multi-Tenant) instance. Additional details can be found at the provided roadmap link.
