Design ideas in Viva Amplify
Design ideas are coming to Microsoft Viva Amplify, allowing authors to enhance their work with new layouts and formats. From September 2024, users with Authoring permissions will be able to rearrange and reformat images, text sections, and banner web parts within sections of Amplify main draft and the Amplify distribution channel for SharePoint. Design ideas will be displayed on Outlook and Teams according to channel-specific render capabilities. The feature will be available by default and will require no admin action before rollout. The suggestions will be available via a content pane pivot, where users can try and apply different ideas for new layouts, backgrounds, text formatting, and image web parts. Overall, Design ideas will give content creators more tools to enhance their material, making it more engaging, and eye-catching.
This update will roll out in September 2024, beginning with early releases, followed by a worldwide General Availability mid-September, and completion by late September 2024.
