Microsoft Viva Amplify: Updated authoring options in the content pane
Microsoft Viva Amplify is introducing updated authoring options, consolidating features into the content pane, and enhancing navigation. The rollout is scheduled to start at the end of July 2024 and be completed by late August 2024. This update will not require any admin action, but users should be informed, and training should be updated. The improved content pane on the right side of the screen will be the hub for various panes consolidating the authoring features in the Toolbox, the Distribution channel selection, and the Writing guidance. After the rollout, users will be able to navigate to different panes, add or remove channels directly from the tabs and access essential tools in the Toolbox, such as web parts, media, and section templates. These new Viva Amplify features are on by default and accessible to all users with Authoring permissions.
To prepare for this update, users should be informed and training updated.
