Viva Amplify – Copy a publication within a campaign
Microsoft Viva Amplify is introducing a new "Save copy" button that will allow users to copy publications within a campaign, maximizing content reuse and efficiency. This new feature will be available between late September and early October 2024, with the exception of mobile apps and Viva Engage customized content. Currently, Viva Amplify users have to manually copy and paste content from one publication to the next, but this new feature streamlines the content creation process, allowing communicators to easily reuse existing content through a centralized button available in any given campaign publication. It will copy all content of the publication, including all channel customization across SharePoint, Teams and Outlook, as well as the audiences of the original publication if desired. However, note that the "copy a publication" feature is not available for Viva Engage customized content for preview customers.
Overall, this new feature enhances content reuse and efficiency, providing an easy way for Amplify users to reuse content that has already been published in a campaign. This feature is available for users in the web/desktop experience, but not on mobile iOS and Android applications. Administrators need not take any action beyond reviewing internal help or guidance created for end users.
