Microsoft Viva Pulse: Updates to Privacy controls

Microsoft has announced that privacy controls within Microsoft Viva Pulse are being updated, with a new "Minimum number of recipients" control being added. This will allow for separate management of the minimum number of recipients and responses required for feedback visibility. The rollout for this update will begin in August 2024 and no admin action is necessary before then. To prepare for the update, organizations should decide on control settings and update documentation. Prior to the rollout, Microsoft Viva Pulse admins can already configure the minimum number of responses required to see feedback in the app's Manage tab. The new control will allow for more granular control over privacy, and will require the minimum number of recipients to always be equal to or greater than the minimum number of responses required. Organizations' current settings will be set to their minimum responses value at the time of the rollout. This update will be invisible to users until the controls are adjusted.
