Send Viva Goals email notifications from your own domain
If you're a Microsoft 365 user, you might be familiar with the email notifications sent from different Microsoft applications. Specifically, Viva Goals, which sends digest emails and sharing notifications, has traditionally sent emails from [email protected]. However, in the coming months, changes are coming for email senders. When users share goals from Viva Goals, these emails will be sent from the user, and digest emails will support being sent from your domain if you have opted in to send email notifications from your domain in the Microsoft 365 admin center.
This is an opt-in feature and is expected to begin rolling out mid-December 2023 and complete by late March 2024. If you have already opted in to selecting the domain to use for email from M365, no further action is required on your part. Otherwise, you can review the steps outlined in the linked post to prepare for this update.
The post Send Viva Goals email notifications from your own domain provides detailed information about these changes, including links to resources and specific Microsoft 365 Roadmap IDs associated with this update.
