Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Insider Risk Management – Enhancements for eDiscovery support of Loop content

Microsoft Purview compliance portal continues to enhance its features by allowing Insider Risk Management to support Loop content in their eDiscovery processes. This update also allows an increase in the maximum number of policies for each insider risk policy template from 5 to 20. Through the use of signal correlation, Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management identifies potential threats from insiders, including IP theft, security violations, and data leakage. To tailor to each organization's internal policies and governance requirements, Insider Risk Management enables the creation of custom policies. Additionally, the platform has privacy features, including pseudonymization of users by default, role-based access controls, and audit logs for user-level privacy and security.

These enhancements are a part of Microsoft's commitment to improving and expanding its services to meet the evolving needs of its customers. The release date for this update is set for March CY2024, and it will be available on Web Cloud Instance GCC, DoD, GCC High.
