Make calls through speed dial and call history on Apple CarPlay
Users can now make phone calls through their speed dial contacts and call history on Apple CarPlay with Teams. To access this feature, users must connect their iPhone to a CarPlay-supported vehicle. The rollout is expected to begin in mid-July and be completed by early August for Production and GCC users, and early September to early October for GCC-High and DoD users. Once connected, users can simply tap the Teams icon and navigate to the Calls tab, where they can access their speed dial contacts or call history. No action is required from the admin as this feature will be available to all Teams users.
If you're a Teams user and frequently make phone calls on-the-go, this feature integration with Apple CarPlay could be a game-changer. It provides quick and easy access to important contacts without the need to fumble through your phone while driving. So, keep an eye out for the rollout and enjoy the convenience of hands-free calls.
