Microsoft Teams: Resize Teams windows

Microsoft Teams: Resize Teams windows

Microsoft Teams is introducing a new feature where users can resize the main Teams window, chat window, and meeting stage on both the Windows and Mac desktop applications to 360px or 502px wide. This supports efficient window management and enhances accessibility for low-vision users when scrolling in one dimension. The update will also allow users to adjust the width of Teams side panels. This change will be available by default and will roll out from early January 2025 to mid-January 2025, with no admin action required before the rollout. Users will be notified of the change, and relevant documentation should be updated. This feature is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 470431.

If you're a Microsoft Teams user on a desktop, be on the lookout for this update which will allow for more efficient multitasking and window management. This feature is designed to enhance accessibility, zoom capabilities, and still offer the same functionality with no loss of features or performance.

Read more about this feature on the official Microsoft Teams blog.
