Expanded reactions in Viva Engage
Expanding reactions in Viva Engage now provides a total of 30 reactions, including laughter, support, excitement and confirmation checkmark icons. The current six reactions will also see new additions to help users better express themselves in conversations. The expanded reactions in Viva Engage are compliant with accessibility standards and are inclusive to all skin tones. The updated reaction set will be supported across all modern clients, including browser, mobile, Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams Engage experiences. Classic Engage (Yammer) experiences will continue to use the old icon set, but the new icons are mapped to the old ones to maintain consistency in reaction counts. The updated reaction set and counts will be reflected in conversation analytics. The feature is set to release in standard networks beginning January 2024, and admins are only required to review internal help or guidance created for end users.
