Viva Engage: New Articles feature

Microsoft Viva Suite and Employee Communications and Communities customers can now leverage a new feature in Viva Engage - "Articles." This new feature provides flexibility for creating rich media posts, longer-form content, and blogging directly in Viva Engage. With control over formatting and design, corporate communicators can easily create content that can be viewed on any device. This feature is designed for leaders and employees to share perspectives, insights, and knowledge with the organization, promoting a sense of connection and pride. Additionally, Viva Engage provides conversation and audience analytics for Articles, allowing communicators and leaders to understand what content resonates with employees and improve communication strategies. Rollout for this new feature will begin mid-February 2024 and is expected to be completed by early March 2024. To create an Article, an employee must be licensed for Viva Suite or Employee Communications and Communities (C&C), while all employees can view, react and respond to the articles as part of their existing Microsoft 365 license. Organizations do not need to take any action to prepare for this change, but it may be helpful to notify users and update relevant documentation.
