Microsoft Teams: Meeting organizers can turn off copying or forwarding of live captions, transcript, and recap for meetings (Premium)

Microsoft Teams is introducing a new control feature for meeting organizers, where they can now turn off copying or forwarding of live captions, transcripts and recaps for meetings. Through an update to the existing ‘Turn off copying or forwarding of meeting chat’ control, organizers with eligible licenses will see a new function labeled ‘Turn off copying and forwarding of meeting chat, live captions, and transcript’ in the meeting options. When activated, meeting participants will not be able to copy the meeting chat, live captions, live transcript, or any insights generated from intelligent meeting recap. This update is expected to be generally available by November CY2024 for Android Cloud Instance GCC, Worldwide (Standard Multi-Tenant), DoD, and GCC High.
