Microsoft Secure Score is Adding New Improvement Actions
Microsoft Secure Score is implementing some changes to improve the accuracy of security posture representation. Starting from mid-August 2023, new improvement actions will be added, and the Secure Score of organizations will be updated accordingly. The new improvement actions include recommendations for Microsoft Information Protection, Exchange Online, Azure Active Directory, and SharePoint. Some of the new improvement actions are to ensure Microsoft 365 audit log search is enabled, mailbox auditing for all users is enabled, and Safe Attachments policy is enabled. Some existing recommendations have been renamed while "Stop legacy protocols communication" has been disabled. To access the new controls, the Office 365 connector in Microsoft Defender for cloud apps must be toggled on via the App connectors settings page. These changes seek to provide a more effective and efficient way of managing security.
