Microsoft Copilot in Edge will support page summarization and user prompt suggestions

Microsoft Copilot in Edge is getting an upgrade starting early November 2024, providing page summarization and contextual prompt suggestions for users through the Edge side pane. These features will be available to users who have signed in with a Microsoft Entra account or are using Microsoft 365 Copilot in web mode. The feature will roll out automatically, and admins will have the ability to configure it. With page summarization, users can summarize an open web page or PDF in the Edge sidebar while contextual prompt suggestions will assist users in asking relevant questions about open pages in Edge. These features are available for Microsoft Copilot users signed in with Microsoft Entra accounts or using Microsoft 365 Copilot in web mode. The feature will be accessible for users when using Copilot through the Edge side pane and will be available by default once it rolls out in early November 2024. Admins can configure the feature using the EdgeEntraCopilotPageContext policy. The rollout will start early November 2024 and complete by mid-November 2024.
