Microsoft Teams: Ability to change language in Microsoft Teams Rooms on Windows
Microsoft Teams Rooms on Windows will soon allow end users to change the language of the app, with the same language choices as the desktop app. This feature, to be rolled out globally by late April 2024, will enable users to select their preferred language from a drop-down menu and restart the device for the changes to take effect. Admins can enable the language change option through a setting in Skypesettings.xml. Once the language has been changed on the device, it will continue using that language until a restart occurs, which could be triggered by the user or during the device's daily maintenance reboot. This update is associated with Microsoft 365 Roadmap ID 380752. Admins should prepare for this update by enabling the language change option in Skypesettings.xml.
