Microsoft Teams: Ultrasound proximity join admin controls for Teams Rooms on Windows

Microsoft Teams has introduced a new feature that enables IT admins to use XML files to create two proximity join settings for Teams Rooms on Windows. The feature offers ultrasound signals that help the user accurately locate and choose a room to attend a meeting from, and also allows Teams Rooms to automatically accept the ring from the user's laptop to join the meeting. This new feature enhances the overall user experience of Teams Rooms on Windows. The feature was made available on the General Availability Release date of April CY2024 and is usable on platforms including Cloud Instance Worldwide (Standard Multi-Tenant), GCC, and GCC High. The feature can be accessed through the use of an XML file. Overall, this feature enhances the usability of Teams Rooms and is a useful addition for IT admins.
