Microsoft Search in Bing configuration renamed to Microsoft Search and Microsoft 365 Chat in Bing
Microsoft has renamed the Microsoft Search in Bing configuration setting on the Search & Intelligence portal, and it will be known as Microsoft Search and Microsoft 365 Chat in Bing going forward. This change will take effect sometime in mid-November 2023. The renaming process will not impact organizations, but administrators who want to configure Microsoft Search in Bing in the Search & Intelligence portal will encounter the new name. Disabling this toggle will disable Microsoft Search in Bing and Microsoft 365 Chat in Bing on bing.com and in Bing-powered entry points such as the Microsoft Edge sidebar and the Edge mobile app. No action is required at this time; however, you may visit the Microsoft Learn website to learn more about Microsoft Search in Bing or Microsoft Support to learn more about Microsoft 365 Chat.
